Position: Personal Trainer 

Classification: Part time 

Reports To: Fitness and Wellness Manager

About Us:

Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and wellness services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ.

Position Summary:

This person is responsible for teaching safe, effective, individualized exercise to clients while assisting them to meet their personal fitness and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement personalized training programs focused on strength, endurance, mobility, and overall wellness.

• Instruct participants on proper exercise techniques, form, and safety.

• Provide encouragement, accountability, and education to help participants achieve results.

• Track progress and adjust programming as needed to ensure continual improvement.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment.

• Promote personal training services and help retain and grow the client base.

• Nationally accredited personal training certification.

• Professional, reliable, and passionate about helping others achieve their goals.

Qualifications:

• Christian Faith:

• Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

• Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.

• Educational Background/Experience:

• Personal Training Certification (from nationally recognized certifying organization i.e., ACE, AFAA, NCSA)

• CPR Certification

• Ability to deal with conflict in a healthy and God honoring way

• Prior experience recommended

• Strong communication skills
