Position: Centre Lifeguard
Classification: Part-time
Reports to: Aquatics Manager

Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and social services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ.
Position Summary:
This role, under the supervision of the Aquatics Manager and Operations Director, will work to create a safe, fun, and wholesome environment for patrons to enjoy The Centre and The Corner Park. Employees must serve patrons with a friendly, helpful attitude, vigilantly monitor the pool and its guests, and enforce established rules, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the pool and its guest’s preventing actions that could lead to injury or destruction of equipment
- Professionally and politely enforce all Centre policies, procedures, and rules
- Serve patrons with a friendly smile and helpful attitude
- Record usage statistics
- Record pool chemical readings
- Teach group and private swim lessons as needed
- Attend and participate in bi-weekly in-service trainings
- Perform daily tasks and record on the Daily Task List
- Maintain a world-class pool environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Christian Faith:

Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord
and Savior.

Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.

- A heart to serve patrons
- Lifeguarding experience preferred
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
- CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer/First Aid
- WSI Certification preferred
